Being one of the best diving spots in the world and the largest barrier reef in the country, Wakatobi Dive Resort has been praised by people from all over the world. The name "Wakatobi" is actually an abbreviation of the four islands, Wangi-wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia and Binongko, that shape the archipelago.With an area as spacious as 1.4 million hectares, the resort is blessed with 43 mapped dive sites that are separated into three levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, making them accessible even to divers who do not have diving experience. Furthermore, the resort provides you with licensed dive guides and instructors

While you are there, you can stay at the resort situated on Onemobaa island, next to Toma island. The resort is built along the beach and you can choose between villas or three types of bungalows, each fully furnished. Since the resort is located far from crowds, you can certainly relax here and feel the intimacy with the nature.

The resort is very accessible, since there are now flights operated by popular airlines from around the world. International flights requires you to stop at Bali and continue on a chartered flight to the resort's airport. If you are already in other main cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta and Surabaya, there are also airlines that provide packages to Wakatobi via Bali.
